Hello all, and thanks in advance for your feedback. I am looking at building a m-ITX machine. I have started looking at the Z-170 boards.

It has been a long time since I have built a machine and I feel a little lost.

I think this nice board will be my next system Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 with PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 Connector with up to 32Gb/s Data Transfer (PCIe NVMe & SATA SSD support).

What do you think of this choice?

It's really early in the Skylake generation and there are comparatively few Z170 mITX boards. We build a lot of mITX systems at school and if someone wanted an overclocking system with M.2, I'd certainly consider that board. M.2 NVMe is something I'd consider for a system drive in my next power build.
