Z170a mobo and H110 dont fit

I've purchased the i5 6600k, MSI Z170a krait and Corsair h110 cooler, and well everything else is fine, but the bracket of the H110 doesnt fit the mounting holes of the motherboard, across, the braket is 5mm longer than holes, and diagonally, its 15mm longer than the holes.

Are you looking at the AMD mounting bracket - the 1151 mobos have the same mounting holes as the earlier 115x mobos

Edit: I offered this as Jack said you have an 1151 which isn't compatible, but he has since edited it to say it's supposed to be. Corsair hasn't been good about updating their product descriptions for compatibility to 1151, but it's basically a given as previous 115x coolers work with 1151

Good point.

The socket is definitely compatible with that cooler. Go back and carefully look at the instructions and make sure you're following for INTEL installation.
