I am planning to build a new system for gaming, music production, programming and a bit of video editing. Here are the components which I have chosen so far...

CPU : Intel i5 4460
MOBO : Asrock H91 M Plus
RAM : 8 GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX
GPU : Asus Strix GTX 960 (4 GB GDDR5)
HDD : 1 TB Western Digital (7200 RPM)
PSU : Corsair VS- 550
CABINET : Corsair 100R

I have a suspicion about that motherboard. Is that board fine with those components.

That motherboard is fine. Might wanna upgrade the CPU to an i7 for video editing.

I would get an r9 380 instead of the gtx 960. Its cheaper and faster.
Rest seems great

That build seems quite good. With a 960 u should be able to max out all games at 1080p and get a respectable frame rate. The only 2 things i would be worried about would be the CPU and the Hdd. I'd highly reccomend using a small ssd (120gb) as your boot drive as they are very cheap and make a heap of difference to startup times. an i5 should be good for video editing, although an i7 would be better
