I needed help, I am a noob when it comes to PC parts. I want to build my first PC and I have gathered these parts. Fractal Core 1000
AMD X4 860K
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X
Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H
G. Skill Sniper 4GB x2 1866Mhz
EVGA 500W
Seagate 1TB Hard Drive
I was wondering what kind of games I would be able to run with reasonable settings and fps. I also would like to record gameplay with this PC. Thanks.

So this PC won't be able to handle any recording? What about some minecraft and recording. One more game, star wars battlefront, will I be able to run that without recording? Thanks for the advice.

Let me make it a bit more clear. You can record while playing any game but you will have very poor FPS while recording on demanding games. Of course, you can always turn down the graphics options when you are recording to counter that.

Minecraft is a light game and you will have no issue recording while playing. You will also be fine on star wars battlefront w/o recording.

More cores won't help in game, only streaming. The x4 860k has better single core performance.

GTX 950 is slower than the R9 270x.

He does not need a larger PSU. Evga makes very good products.

You have to work around the user's case choice. There's a good chance the case you picked isn't his ideal choice.

^ for streaming the 6300 is a whole lot better.

950 vs 270x ,- nothing in it performance wise, recording using shadowplay has such a minimal performance hit though compared to raptor that its a better choice if you're recording gameplay.

PSU - the seasonic is hands down better quality than the evga , nothing to do with wattage - the evga is a decent PSU at the right price but its not particularly cheap at the moment.

Case - as you say users choice , nothing wrong with the core 1000 - he'll need to add a front intake fan at $6 or so which puts it near the same price as the n200.
The n200 comes with 2 xtraflow fans prefitted & is ultimately a better case hands down IMO.

These aren't digs at your reply mate - just reasons for my list over his original part choice.

You don't have to use raptr if your an AMD user, you can use any video capture software. You can get similar performance benefits as well as long as the software has GPGPU. Shadowplay has issues capturing d3d9 based games, fullscreen windowed, and others. Nvidia's shadowplay isn't nearly as polished as long time capture software.

You can't say the seasonic is hands down better than the EVGA because he didn't even give you the model, only the wattage. You're just taking a blind shot in the dark.

His system doesn't require high airflow and I'm sure he choose said case because he likes it. A low heat output system like his will be just fine.

You're just being argumentative for the sake of it now IMO.

The core 1000 has no airflow without adding extra fans , its a black box do I doubt its the looks rather the price

The only evga 500w PSU is the b1 so I know 100% that the seasonic is better quality.

No, you're just being stubborn.

"The core 1000 has no airflow without adding extra fans"

It includes a fan, thus you are wrong. You shouldn't speak in absolutes when they are bound to come back and bite you. You could sit here and recommend cases all day based on airflow but a majority of a person's case choice is going to be based on looks. In the end, your recommendation would be a marginal improvement in temps but ultimately not something the OP has picked. If everyone choose cases just on performance, there wouldn't be so many different case designs.

"The only evga 500w PSU is the b1 so I know 100% that the seasonic is better quality."

Once again, you are wrong
