Hi recently I'm building a gaming desktop and I need some opinion from you guys. Any comment are welcome and appreciated.

My build can be found on this link>> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KpQfXL

So can i know which graphic card should I choose? It seems that EVGA have addiction 2 gb which 6GB in total while Gigabyte have 4GB. It's that any different in those 2 gb? Of course in term of price Gigabyte its cheaper 100 dollar but does it worth it? Help me by commenting what's your advice regarding these 2 graphic cards tq.

Now for motherboard section, can i know whether Should I go for Msi Or Asus? I set my eye on M7 but due to oc problem so I thought of going asus. BUT! I saw a lot review regarding Asus Motherboard Problem coming in these 2 months so now I'm stuck. If we dont compare OC can I know Whether the msi m7 can perform better than the asus Z170-DELUXE(expensive 100 dollar) and Asus x99-Deluxe(expensive 200 Dollar)???

The EVGA graphics card is a GTX 980ti which is better than the Gigabyte graphics card which is only a GTX 980. The 980ti is about 25% faster on average than the 980 so it is a much more powerful card, I would definitely go with the EVGA one.

There is usually very little difference between motherboards in terms of performance and the problems that some people have are usually not common and the companies will probably solve the problems soon enough. Anyways, the ASUS one will probably have more features (and fits your color scheme better), but I personally don't think it is worth the $100 premium. To be honest I think that the M5 or M3 motherboard by MSI is good enough, but it is your choice.

The ASUS X99-Deluxe is an LGA 2011-v3...

The Gigabyte Extreme Gaming Edition has unlocked voltage, so you can overclock it more. If you are choosing between a 980 Ti Classified, & a 980 Extreme Gaming, why not choose between a 980 Ti Extreme Gaming & a 980 Ti Classified. Between the classified 980 Ti & Extreme Gaming 980, I would get the classified. BUT I would rather go with a 980 Ti Extreme Gaming instead because of its extended overclocking abilities & extra fan.
Hope this helps, & good luck!

The ASUS X99-Deluxe is an LGA 2011-v3 motherboard which support completely different CPUs to the Z170 motherboards you are also looking at so if you intend on keeping the 6700k that won't be a factor. However, if you do switch to something like the i7-5820k you can go with the X99 Deluxe.

Bottom line is, I think that the MSI motherboard is good for your build and you should not have any problems with it as long as you don't get a faulty one. I will make some small changes to your build that I think will help you but you can decide if you want to change it.

I just changed the power supply to something more high quality and I also switched your ram to something less expensive because ram speed doesn't really make a difference to be honest. With the money saved changing your components I also managed to add an SSD to your build for your Operating System for a faster boot time.

Good Luck :)

THANKS A LOT Phil!!!!! Now i have no doubt going for msi motherboard!!! Your build was awesome! I consulted my pc builder and he say this it's perfect for me!!!!! For now I just stuck at graphic card as I really no idea what card should i go. Every time I ask ppl opinion i get different recommendation which kinda confusing. Like for example my friends recommend me go for MSI GTX 980TI LIGHTNING as the lightning can shine through my window case but i found that the price exceed 700 dollar which I'm having doubt whether I need such an expensive card as I only need for gaming, photo and video editing. Do you have an suggestion regarding this?

I do not personally think that the MSI lightning is worth it, the cooling system will probably allow a higher overclock than other ones, but honestly something like the Gigabyte Windforce 980ti also has lighting on the logo and cools the card very well too. I would say stick with the EVGA or Gigabyte card, the MSI one is not worth it imo (not to mention the MSI one is yellow and your build seems to be primarily white/red/black).

Thanks again!I know right! That yellow strip really........ Ermmm so now my choice have been narrow to EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB CLASSIFIED and Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti XTREME Gaming 6GB. Do you think Gigabyte will suit my build better or should I stick with EVGA? Cause i'm not familiar with Gigabyte as this it's the first time I'm building a desktop. So mostly I will stick with EVGA but I need some advice from you on this.

Honestly you can't go wrong with either of them. I have built with both manufacturers and they are both top notch in terms of quality and you won't have any problem with either of them. I would simply choose the one that looks better aesthetically to you because both of these are more on the top end of the 980ti spectrum of the respective companies. I personally really like Gigabyte's triple fan cooling system over EVGAs because it does give noticeably better temperatures while being quieter as well. The EVGA card however I've read can reach some higher overclocks on average than the Gigabyte one but honestly the difference in max clock speed won't really be noticeable anyways.

Enough of my rambling. I would choose the Gigabyte one personally, more pleasing to the eye, lower temps, and has lighting on the logo, a good tradeoff for a possibly higher overclock of the EVGA one.

Again good luck with your computer :)
