I'm sorry to ask this question, I've seen it two other places, but here's my hangup.
On Gigabyte's website for their 990fxa-ud5 r5 rev.1.0
http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=5292
It lists the AMD FX 9590 as supported. Also, Newegg.com (Where I purchased the parts from) Lists it as a supported motherboard.
However, I'm having the problem of it only registering 4 cores. Can anyone point me as to why this would be happening? I installed a Corsair h100i gtx cooler for the CPU, and it idles at about 18 degrees C.
Thank you in advance.
EDIT:
I dunno, maybe I'm crazy. In Task Manager it says 4 cores, but in the Resource manager it has CPU 0-7 listed. So would that be the 8? Is task manager just not working. I'm on a windows 10 by the way.
