Hello everyone! Sorry for the long wait. Finished finals and enjoyed some freedom. I updated the build some what and included the two final builds below. Let me know of any issues, or changes that fit within the budget.
First off, my plan if it says on track is to have the components ordered by mid-March.
> The budget for reference is $1200 with everything that's included in the list.
>Normal tasks: Web surfing, video streaming, possibly light programming.
>Games: Battlefield 4, Elder Scrolls Skyrim + Mods, Steam games, World of Tanks, etc.... (I don't need Ultra settings with 60FPS, medium to high settings are good for me, 1080p res.)
> Future Tasks: Recording/Streaming game play.

Hopefully those link are working.
Now I'm looking to get at least 3 years out of either build before any upgrades are needed. Now the issues with the skylake is that as faster DDR4 comes out I might upgrade for the lower CAS.
Which is better for Cost vs. Performance/ longevity.
At some point I will be getting an SSD for the OS and will go the Liquid cooling when I plan to OC the CPU, GPU, possibly the RAM. Down the road I will try to make it quiet with liquid cooling.
