Hello,
i will try to explain what i would like to discover how to... so im in a small hotel and we have very limited internet connection, therefore we can not provide (and we dont really want to) wifi inthe bedrooms. However, i would like to explore a solution where i could have a PC (server, win7 at the moment) to store movies and then build a wireless network to allow people to join the network and stream movies in their bedrooms (no, we dont have TVs in the bedrooms, and we are not planning to have them, rural tranquility as we say...).

Do you guys happened to know if there is such a technology available for both iOs and Android, even with an app to download?

Could you please direct me to the right places or tell me good ideas how to possibly execute this?

thanks a lot

Actually what you are planning to do is probably a violation of the copyright laws, i.e., "piracy".

You are contradicting yourself by saying you cannot and do not want to provide wifi and then say you want to set up a wireless network to stream movies.

That all said, someone really needs to make a decision about the end experience to be offered to your customers: rural or technical?

Either way it has got to be good to attract new guests and retain existing guests.

i have never seen your message, lmao, until now.
thank you for your reply, the idea back in that time was dismissed, im just having to look for solutions when a new idea pops up.

ADD: we would be able to build a wireless infrastructure, however we are not able to provide internet access through the building due to the very poor reception we got here.
(we didnt intend to avoid paying copyrights, here everything goes through the books... - this is for the first comment :) )
