I kinda have an idea how to build a pc but I never have. Should I try it and maybe get some help from someone who knows how to or should I just buy a prebuilt one. I can also take some parts out of my current pc and add the parts I want. What would be the best option??

It depends if you want to build a PC or not and how much of a gaming machine you need. Not everyone enjoys building PC's and if you don't know what combination of components to use for optimum results, it can work out as an expensive way to get a mediocre computer, so sometimes it does make sense to pay extra for a PC built by someone who knows how to get the most bang for your buck.

I'm about to do a major upgrade myself; I'm ditching my old AMD motherboard and processor for an Intel setup, but it's costing me a lot more money than I expected. A new Intel i3 processor and a new Gigabyte ATX motherboard plus 16GB's of DDR4 RAM has set me back £240 - and that was the bestest, cheapest deal I could find. And another £8 for a cooler. Oh, and I'm getting a Fractal Design case for Christmas, so technically that's another £85.
And.. I also had to replace my monitor this week - £123. But that doesn't count.

I spent ages deliberating on whether to upgrade my old AMD with a newer processor or not; I chose the expensive route because from what I've read, the latest Intel processors are leaps and bounds ahead of the circa 2005/2006 AMD processor I currently have. And the new motherboard just looks so much cooler! And going from DDR2 to DDR4 I expect to notice a difference.

Building a PC is fun though, I really enjoy it. The only thing you have to be careful of is not to drop the power supply unit on the motherboard! If you don't screw that up and you aren't a walking static generator, everything else is like slotting Lego blocks together.
