new graphics card issue

I have recently installed a new2 GTX 960. now when I power my pc up I have too unplug and re plug my monitor in. I have already went into BIOS and made my graphics card my primary display. please help with this issue

make sure youtr mb has the newest bios on it to rule out a bios bug. in the bios make sure muilt monitor is off and your using one video cable and it on the gpu and not the mb video port.

what the model of the mb you have i check and link the newest bios file for you. to find out go into the bios and on the first main screen is going to be a bios rev near the date and time.
