PCIe SSD + M.2 SSD on H170

I'm thinking of purchasing the Asus H170 pro USB 3.1 motherboard for my i7-6700.
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H170-PRO-USB-3-1/specifications/
I want to run a Samsung 850 pro M.2 pcie SSD and an Intel 750 series PCIe x4 SSD (in the grey slot). Im looking to boot from the intel SSD. Will both the SSDs work together (will there be enough PCIe lanes? Please give an example of how the chipset pcie lanes are allocated). I'll be running a GPU at x16 too.

Solution
You may want to ask ASUS about your exact configuration.
I suspect you may be right in that there will not be sufficient lanes.
H170 provides up to 16 gen3 pcie lanes.
That would mean to me that the graphics slot would need to run at x8 if you have two extra x4 devices. Not necessarily a big performance hit for graphics.

You might want to reconsider and buy a Z170 chipset motherboard which has 20 pcie gen 3 lanes.
I think you are talking about the Samsung 950 PRO which is a m.2 format NVMe pcie ssd.
http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/SSD/global/html/ssd950pro/overview.html
It will go in the motherboard and run at x4 speeds.
You can boot from it with no issue.
I use one in my Asus maximus viii gene.
The x16 graphics card will still run at x16, but really, even x8 is no bottleneck.

The sata ports are mix and match.
If you have a sata express device(none that I know of) you can combine two sata ports for that purpose. It might be possible to use an adapter for the intel 750 but I think you would be limited to 2x sata speeds.

I do not think that is much worth it.
I would buy the 500gb Samsung 950 pro and take it as far as the capacity will let you.
I hear that there might be a 1tb version coming.

Any overflow can be handled with a more conventional ssd in a normal sata port.

Hey thanks for the reply. I want to get one of these Intel SSDs ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167359 ) and the Samsung m.2 SSD you mentioned. I want to boot from my intel SSD. What I am worried about is that will the second PCIe slot ( size x16 but speed x4) be disabled if I use the m.2 slot and vice versa? Because even the m.2 slot says that it runs of 4 PCIe lanes.
