Second Monitor for my Laptop

So I'm using an Asus q550lf laptop and I'm interested in getting a new monitor for Christmas. The one I'm looking at is the Asus vg248qe. Would this be compatible with my computer and could I run the 144hz. Thanks, AJLefty015

I think that really depends on your Nvidia GeForce integrated graphics. Is it a GeForce GT 745M? You need to find out if your card can run 144hz video without without something like a dual-link dvi adapter or if it can handle that task at all.
