do I have enough power?

Built my first pc and the dude at microcenter said a 600 watt corsair cxmod would be enough to power my gigabyte 980ti gaming g1 gpu. I also got a i56600k I am okay with this psu? Kinda worried

Okay will it cuz any harm to my pc if i continue to use it till i get a better one in like a week or two? Also the psu only came with 1 pci cable but the cable itself has a 2nd 8pin connector that branches off from it. I am supposed to use that 2nd 8pin to my gpu right for a total of 2 8 pin connector from 1 pci cable? Or am I supposed to use a seperate pci cable for the 2nd 8 pin connection?

Yes, you can use the second PCIe connector by taking 2 positions off. You can use it, but I would rather wait for one week or how much time it takes for the new PSU to arrive. If your current PSU fries something, you will repent your decision.
