Office says that we now had twenty days to activate it, the computer effectively considers the copy of Office as a new install.
OK, fine, I went online to activate it online, and the website suggested the license key I have wasn't valid.
This was a legally purchased copy of MS Office 2007 Student Edition; serial code and all. I still have the serial code and the disks.
I'd really like to figure this out; trying to talk to the customer service reps was irritating and they kept trying to sell me a subscription to Office365 or something. Thank you, but Office 2007 works well enough for me.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
