Starting to do my last plan-outs of my first upgrade, which is a new GPU upgrade (GTX 970).
First, the specs I guess.
CPU: i7 4770 @3.40Ghz
GPU: GTX 635
Ram: 12 Gbs
PSU: 460w Dell Genuine : http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Dell-Systems-Compatible-Numbers/dp/B009G28TOW (I bought a prebuilt)
Branding/Model Name: XPS 8700
Hard to find the particular model I have. It is a XPS 8700, but has a GTX 635 and i7 4770. (Not the K version). Anyways, I plan to ship out for a new GPU (GTX 635 isn't really a good gaming option), and that new GPU is planned to be a MSI GTX 970 4Gb. Now, I heard some people running on 460w fine with the 970, but some people said I should rather upgrade. I really don't wanna risk anything. So, is my PSU a quality brand (That came from Dell) good enough to supply efficent power to the 970? Or should I upgrade. Thanks.

Hmm, thanks for the option. Actually, I was looking at this PSU someone sent to me. He regarded it was pretty good and was a good option. What do you think?

Thanks for your support! Great appreciated. One last thing.
Do you think it could fit in easily without any hassle,/removement of any parts in my XPS 8700?

For arguments sake ... Why?

In the next thread,
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1780765/psu-dell-xps-8700.html

a quote from ko888 (post nr4),

It's a 460 Watt OEM PSU made by Delta Electronics. It has a maximum combined +12V current rating of 32 Amps and has two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Another thread,
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2329240/potential-psu-problem-msi-gtx-970.html

a quote from SR-71 Blackbird (post nr4),

A GeForce GTX 970 - needs 28 amps on the 12v + rail and a 500 watt power supply with 1 - 6 pin and 1 - 8 pin PCIE power connection.

Not all gtx 970 need an 8pin connector next to a 6pin so if the OP buys one which just uses two 6pin connectors should he be fine with the current psu if i'm not mistaken.Depends a bit on which MSI gtx 970 he's going to buy.
