Hi,
I have windows 10 Home Latest November version 1511 I have a samsung pro 850 128 gb. I hear a lot of people talking about there being an updated firmware for it but are having problems after installing the update Like there ssd is bricked if you will. Is broke has to be replaced I'm wondering if Samsung has fixed this issue and I should upgrade to the latest frimware. I never realized that there was an updated firmware the Magician software never said there was an update when I checked. the firmware that I have is EXM01B6Q.Could someone maybe give me instructions on how to download and install the latest firmware. And give me there opinion on weather or not it would be safe to do it. And recommend the site to download the firmware from.
I would be extremly grateful!
P.S I just do not want to damage my ssd beyond repair so if anyone says it's not a good idea for me to do this then I won't do it.
Thank you!
I know there is a way to do this with a dos disk I'm just not sure how I couldn't find instructions that I could Understand. And this could break the ssd beyond repair.
So I want to be very careful.
