Today i looked all round the internet to find a solution, but to no avail.

My motherboard is a M5 A97 R2.0 With a FX6100, and 8 GB's or ram.

I had some problems getting it too work when i first installed the parts, just to find out i mounted the cpu cooler incorrectly. after that i got the computer to start, and was unable to start my external dvd reader. I was then able to figure out that it was only able to work on the 3.0 usb. Then, after that after i tried to install windows 7, it said that there was no usb/dvd reader plugged in..i then switched it to the 2.0 usb, tried to install again, but it gave me the same message. i looked around the internet looking at ways to bypass this, but every tutorial i find doesn't help, and i'm still stuck at no drivers. Do i have to make another windows 7 iso on my dvd, or do i need to get a external usb storage device?

Very old Motherboards will have trouble booting USB, you are advised to hookup DVD internally to install OS.

If this is a modern Mobo, something is very wrong as it should BOOT without ANY additional driver, use ANY bootable factory DVD/CD to ascertain this is the case. U may have a faulty DVD drive.
