Intel core i7 4790K
MSI z97-g45 motherboard
Hyperx savage 16gb(2x8) 1866
WD Green 2 TB
Sandisk xtreme pro 240GB SSD.
I'm going to buy gtx 970 but don't know if it is better to buy from msi,evga,gigabyte...? And what cooler should i buy?

Solution
No it isn't so bad just slow but anyway you will have an ssd so it will not be a problem. About the psu, yes you made a good choice, and you can see it by the great number of positive reviews.

Enjoy your new build!

More like a graphics card question than a motherboard.

But I probably would buy MSI. I think it's the coolest card? Correct me if I'm wrong, someone. But it's the most awesome looking GTX 970, at least IMO.
I would buy EVGA or Asus if it's significantly cheaper than MSI. Those perform almost as well as MSI, if not as well.
Gigabyte? Nah... Never seen it cheaper than any of the above.

Ty for answering. And what can you say about other components? Are they bad, good or just okey? It's my first build, so I'm a bit nervous. My budget is 1400-1500$. And wich cooler should i buy on 4790K. And what about power supply to this build?:)

Well youarepained,

My build could give you some clues which way to go. Don't buy green WD hdd it is pretty slow and audible, go with blue model at least. About gpu, 970 is a good choice and from my personal experience msi could be the way you go.

Best luck!

It's hard to go wrong with brand of GPU these days. Factor in your budget and read the reviews at Newegg. Personally I like EVGA ACX cooling, I have 3 140mm exhaust and 200mm intake fan so an ACX works for me. If you don't have as much air being pushed around you might look at a reference design. CPU cooler Hyper EVO 212 is really popular, Noctua NH-U12S or NH-U14S. Look at the manufacturer specs for your case to see what fits.

Chances are that if you do a ton of reading and research, the build you were set on originally will change as you gather information. The build you have in mind looks decent though.

Check out the Enthoo cases, EVGA G2 PSU's and the Samsung 950 Pro M.2

Thanks drpower.

Wait... EVGA G1 isn't good. G2, GS, B2, NEXG, T2, and P2 are the ones made by Super Flower or SeaSonic, and those are the impeccable ones, not G1 or NEX.

As for your other components, perhaps change the motherboard? MSI Z97A Gaming 6 would have USB 3.1. Otherwise, looks fine.

youarepined,

with that build at least go with gtx 960. You have a great cpu and pairing it with weak gpu is no way to go. There will be chances in the future to change your monitor for a better one.

Best luck!

Yes, i'm gonna buy new full hd monitor + gtx 980 or 970 i think maybe in 3 or 4 months. But for now i need to know what would be the best GPU to run games on my old monitor with this build. :) And thanks everyone for answers it really helps a lot.
