Making A USB Printer Wireless

Hey Guys,
I have a HP M1005 MF printer and I want it to be wireless. Now the question comes up that do I really need a Print Server Enabled Modem or A print Server. Can't I just use a ethernet-to-female USB cable adapter to plug my printer's USB cable to one of the ethernet ports behind my standard router?

USB-to-Ethernet adapters are intended for computers that can have the proper drivers installed allowing the adapter to work.

Drivers can't be installed on printers, thus you'll need to have a device that functions as a print server.
