When I boot up my computer after about 10 minutes it either freezes or the monitor suddenly shows no output.
If I try to restart it it freezes during bootup and the time before freezing seems to increase the longer I leave it without booting it up but never more than 10 minutes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a tool in Windows called "Reliability Monitor" if you open that it will tell you what is crashing your computer. Normally you can find the exact hacause this way.

What you do is check the log for each day you have a crash and keep going back until you find a day where there are no crashes. Normally you can figure out what was installed on that day to make things break… and remove it from your PC.

You can also click "check for a solution", which will be beside the critical error and hopefully Windows will find a solution for you. I have had varying success with this but it is worth a try.

To access this tool in Windows 7 just open start and type "reliability" and open the monitor when it appears.
