Probably a stupid question about fan setting on CM Stormtrooper case...

Hi there

I have had a PC with a CM Stormtrooper case for a few years now. I've noticed the fans are really noisy when they first start up.

This happened this morning and I found by adjusting the fan speed down from the front of the case that it sorted the noise out.

I've had the fans set at full speed since owning this PC as I just thought that the colder the case - the better.?

If I turn the fans down I'm worried that the components may overheat?

So I was just wondering if there was an "automatic" setting that would allow the motherboard to just control the fans as when they were needed rather than setting them on a specific speed setting manually from the buttons at the front?

Here are the buttons that control the fans. It was set on maximum but I've turned it down to 3.

Thank you for any help you can give me :)

Best way is to find some software for fan control. I'm using asus suite as a part of my mb software pack and never had any problem. It automatically adjust fan speed depending on temps.

Best luck!
