Looking to upgrade my system, would I get that much of a performance boost?

Here is my planned upgrade

AMD 8320 -> Intel 6600k
Nvidia 770 4GB Keeping this one for now
16GB DDR3 1600Mhz -> 16GB DDR4 2133Mhz

I already have an SSD running my SSD
I've already made sure my PSU can run all of this

Yes, for gaming you'll get a significant performance boost.

The FX-8320 (if overclocked) will still probably have a slight advantage in performance for multi-core supported processess like rendering, but overall you'll see an overall improvement for most games and applications with the 6600k.
