Hi TH, I am looking at whether it would be worth upgrading my existing circa 4 year old system to something newer and I could easily described as a total novice when it comes to things like this so though it prudent to ask you knowledgeable people here. My existing system is:
I7-2600 (no k) 3.4ghz, Asus P8P67 LE mo/bo, 8gb Kingston HyperX, MSI GTX970, 1tb Serial ATA, 600w PSU, Win 10.
After a week or so of researching various components I have a shopping list below that I think works together (?) and is around my budget (top end of it)
I7 6700k, Asus Z170 Pro Gaming mo/bo, 16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4, 500gb Samsung 850 Evo, 1tb WD black, 750w Corsair RM PSU and keeping my existing GTX 970
So in your opinions is it worth it? If there is anything else I should be listing here please let me know, as I said earlier I am a total idiot when it comes to what is "good"
