The problem : I've recently been experiencing computer freezes. What'll happen is after a certain amount of time the computer will freeze play a weird noise (usually whatever was playing at that moment but stuck at that point, ie. babeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee) and there will be horizontal lines across the screen. Not really sure whats going on. Any help is appreciated.
Also, I'm not sure this is related, but my things like google, steam, spotify will take around 20% of cpu for a few minutes, normally would be like 1-5%, however at the time of writing this everything seems normal.

edit- this hasn't happened for a while, but now PC is freezing randomly. after reboot checked BIOS and cpu was at 65 degrees. The freeze will still let me move mouse around and windows + L doesn't work, but it used to.
