I currently have 6GB of RAM and would like to upgrade in the hopes that it will bring new life to my laptop - plus, it's extremely affordable to upgrade. I used Crucial's tool to determinate what they recommended for upgrading my RAM. Their suggestion is Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3-1866 SODIMM. I'm wondering if someone could suggest something that's better and still compatible.
i.e. - what specs make it compatible? With that information I wouldn't mind doing the search myself, but any, and all, recommendations are very much appreciated.
