I am running these 3 items together and I've noticed that my computer struggles with high RAM operations... particularly a silverlight app that I use for work.
I overclocked to...
Core Speed 4099.8 MHz
Multiplier x Bus Speed 20.5 x 200.0 MHz
Rated Bus speed 1999.9 MHz
Stock frequency 3800 MHz
And its stable. Sadly, my RAM should read as:
DDR3 1333
Timing 9-9-9-24
Cas Latency 9
Voltage 1.5V
In CPU Z, however, it reads as:
Memory Type DDR3
Memory Size 8 GBytes
Channels Dual
Memory Frequency 400.0 MHz (1:2)
CAS# latency (CL) 6.0
RAS# to CAS# delay (tRCD) 6
RAS# Precharge (tRP) 6
Cycle Time (tRAS) 15
Bank Cycle Time (tRC) 20
Uncore Frequency 1999.9 MHz
Why isnt my ram performing up to specs?? How do I fix this within BIOS? What settings do you suggest?
Thank you so much
Bryan
