Solution
I don't see a point in going for Skylake and choosing ddr3 ram when choosing a new system.Only maybe when already having it could it be a sensible choice.

My suggestion,

You could include a Solid state drive, a better monitor in the list. There are some unnecessary parts that is eating the overall budget.

Thank you kindly for your responses. I was kinda hoping for a closed liquid cooler, but I really cant complain with a $20 after market sleeve bearing cooler. I can always upgrade one later down the road. Appreciate the feedback on another great build. Thanks!!!

I see, firstly i was trying get a configuration with a devil canyon's chip, later when the prices of the current gen. looks like a deal, i forgot to alter the memory, thank god to that motherboard that supports DDR3 memory or else i could the notice the incompatibility. Anyways, OP got the answer.

@Matz, stop voting down any answer without a conclusion, you need to learn a lot before taking that step. Just because of the memory, that doesn't make sense you have to vote it down, i could rather vote your answer down @ unnecessary investment are involved and sorry for late reply.

I thought i chose this psu,
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20750xr
which i rate high, have it myself, even EVGA rates it higher. It's another extra $10 though.

For watercoolers could you look at these,
http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/compare/corsair-cpu-cooler-h60cw9060007ww%2Csilverstone-cpu-cooler-td02lite/
but you see a lot more expensive. You could stick with the oem windows to make room for this, even get just 2x4gb=8gb ram but that's up to you.

Witht the said changes would it look like this,

Tyvm for the response, but I was wondering if I was to choose the Silverstone TD02-LITE 92.5 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler, would I have enough headroom so the rad sits within the top of the case, or would I need a different setup configuration / cooler?
