hi, I appreciate anyone who could help or who could provide some ideas of how can I fix this issue, I have windows 8 before and it can read the whole ram of 12.00 as available, but when I upgraded to windows 10 it can read all ram but its showing only 7.95 is available out of the 12.00. Any idea what might have caused this? thanks for your help.

( I have screenshots if it helps)

Go to msconfig>boot>advanced options and make sure that the maximum memory checkbox is disabled. If that doesn't work, go to BIOS and check for memory remapping option. If its disabled, enable it.

Does BIOS report all 12GBs of memory?

By the way, are you running 3x4GB sticks of ram?

well before I upgraded to windows 10 it can read all rams and shows all are available so I know my mobo supports it, until I upgraded that is which seems really weird..
