*EDIT* March 28 2016 ----- OK, embarrassing, on my last system (i5 4670K Asrock h87) I'm pretty sure it automatically changed the boot order after installing Win 10 but on the Micro 2 once you see it try and start the install process again you have to reset the computer and hit delete and / or F2 to get to the BIOS and switch the boot order manually. I installed an 850 Evo SSD and use it as the OS drive only, formatted the 950 Pro for storage. My boot time is 30s so far in Legacy mode compared to 9s with the 950 Pro in UEFI. I don't know if I have to reinstall to switch it to UEFI mode as I had before, still more tinkering to do.

i7-5820k
EVGA Micro 2
Samsung 950 Pro
GTX 980 ti
32GB Hyper X 2666
Windows 10 64 Bit Full version

When I power on it goes to the bios. I can restore defaults and enable M.2 while in the Bios, save and reset, then it boots like normal to Windows 10 although I think a bit sluggish (30 seconds) considering it is a 950 Pro drive. I can restart the system manually or because I download software that requires a restart and it boots to windows. Once I manually power down, it will boot to Bios on power up.

-Boot #1 is Hard Disc
-I do not have a system speaker, will that matter? I can't hear any beeps if there were one. The store opens tomorrow I'll get one.
-Should I try resetting the CMOS?
-I have every driver even the keyboard updated, I also disconnected the keyboard and mouse before power up. The Bios settings have not changed.

What are some suggestions why a system reverts to Bios?

I checked off another setting in the Bios with the help of EVGA tech rep. It works now like normal. Thanks for your help Vic 40! EVGA is in the process of making an updated Bios firmware update, to accommodate these M.2 drives a little more smoothly. I will update this reply with my Bios settings soon.
