I need to replace one of the memory sticks in my desktop (Intel). I don't speak Technoslavakian, so I'm really lost. I have a 240 pin MT16JTF25664AY 1G1d1. Of course, I have no idea what that means. Below there are other numbers 2RX8 PC3-8500U-7-10-B0 & then DDR3, 1066, CL7. I'd like to increase the memory to accommodate the 30+ tabs I seem to always open when researching case law. But looking for new memory, I find variations with these same numbers . Some have only the first set, then different other stuff, some have the DDR3 etc, but different first sequence...I apologize for my pathetic description but can you tell me how I know what is interchangeable?

PC3-8500 DDR3-1066MHz non-ECC Unbuffered, this is mainly what you need to be concerned with on new memory specs and you want 2x4g.The board may take larger 8g cards but post up you motherboard model number, to confirm ram type/recommendations. also post up ram you like and we can confirm it for you
