Hey everyone, I have a GTX560 that I've had for maybe 3 years now. Using speedfan, my GPU used to spike up to 70-80c when playing graphics intensive games, but just recently, even when just watching videos, it goes upto 100c and stays there. While I was playing games a few days ago, the PC would just crash, I can't even see the details of what happened since my monitor goes black, receives no signals, and I would get a very loud loop of what I was just listening to -- along with my fans going full speed. As of right now, I used Geforce Control Panel to kick the fan speed up to 70%, but it won't get any higher than that, and at idle, the GPU temp is still 40-50c. I cleaned the the case out just yesterday thinking it was dust, but the problem still persists -- I took the GPU out just to check and it did not seem like there was anything wrong. Every other temp showing in Speedfan shows a cool 20-30c -- it's just the GPU. Even during the summer when the ambient temperature was at an all time high, I did not have this problem. It shouldn't be this way during the winter, when even I am freezing, right?

I have a 700w PSU, M68MT-S2 , and an AMD FX 6100. I'm not sure what other information I need to provide.

Thanks
