Possible heat damage to newly shipped PSU/motherboard?

I recently purchased a new PSU/motherboard for a new build. The package was delivered to my apartment's leasing office and when I picked it up the next day, the box was warm to the touch. If I had to guess, I think it was left near a heater while it was siting in the storeroom. When I opened the shipping box, the motherboard and PSU boxes were warm too, but certainly nothing too hot to handle.

Is it possible that the components were damaged, or am I being overly paranoid? I didn't see any damage, i.e. the plastic wrap wasn't melted or anything. I haven't used my new PC enough to really judge if something's wrong. I did have some issues getting the PC to post. That was because I didn't seat the RAM properly the first time, and I don't suspect it was because of any component damage.
