Im trying to understand how FPS is affected by turning on anti-alliasing to high settings while playing fallout 4 or skyrim.

My budget for VGP card is $160-$210 Radeon. How much would i have to spend to run these games at close to 40-60FPS what settings (shaders) (anti-aliasing) will i be able to max out man :) ??

Just got ASUS M5A97 mobo withAMD fx-6300

Also what speed ddr3 should i get to run these games at upper mid range settings, thankyou Christopher

8GB of DDR3 is the bare minimum for a good gaming system.

AA (anti-aliasing) add a significant amount of load on the GPU since the GPU has to run an algorithm to figure out which pixels need to be faded more to prevent the "staircase" effect. It has to run this on every frame as well, which is why it's so demanding.

What games will you be playing?

Thanks techy,, i guess i should hold up to the recommended specs to skyrim. Then i should be able to play fallout 4 and guildwars2

R9 380 I'm guessing then? :)

This benchmark should give you a good idea on FPS:
