ASus m5a97 le r2.0 problem with cpu

I have a amd fx 8320 with asus m5a97 le r2.0 it is running at 3.7ghz all the time can i not make it go down or up depending on the load?and how do i do it ?also can i overclock it or not?

It's OC-able yes, the CPU is based on 3.5 and up to 4 turbo boost at stock, sounds like it has a bit of a load on it and/or sommething in the BIOS has been changed or did you use the mobos OC software

have not gone on the oc software or overclocked it .It cant have a lot of load on it when surfing the net

AI Suite II automatically starts when you enter the Windows OS. The Auto Tuning Shortcut Button is easily accessed here and may have been inadvertently started the auto tuning.
