I just installed W10 on a machine, formatting an SSD in the process. However, I forgot I had left a 500GB HDD installed, and accidentally deleted my primary partition on the 500GB HDD as well. I now have ~500GB of unallocated space.
I have all my photos and music backed up from this drive, but there is still data I'd like to recover.
I've tried testdisk on Ubuntu, and AOMEI Partition Assistant and Minitool Partition Wizard on Windows but to no avail, I'm getting weird results like 8GB EXT4 partitions and FAT32 partitions instead of my ~500GB NTFS partition.
Any suggestions? I might just forget about it but I'd much rather save the data.
