Hi guys, my computer has been randomly restarting and I really need help with it.

I had it built 3 weeks ago and it worked fine for a week until it started restarting randomly. It would restart while the computer was idle at first. Then it started restarting while I was using it. It would restart while I was playing a game or using internet explorer. There is a buzzing noise (headphones) just before it restarts.

It would restart and loop at the page where it says to press F2/del to enter bios several times before booting windows. It would sometimes restart right after logging in.

I had the mobo and psu replaced a week ago and the problems are starting again. The people who built my computer seem to have no idea what is causing the restarts and is blaming it on windows 10. They assured me that nothing is wrong with the parts. I have made sure to download all the latest updates and drivers as well and even a clean install of windows 10.

My specs:
Processor: i5-4590
8GB RAM
GPU: GTX 960
PSU: Coolermaster V650 (V550 before replacement)
Motherboard: Asus H97M-plus

Event ID 41 (kernel power) would keep showing up in the event viewer. I had the PSU replaced but the problem is showing again. And now when it restarts, it would flash the pre-bios page for 1 second before going black and looping again several times. The fans remain on throughout.

I have no idea what to do at this point. Do I replace the PSU again? Please help and thank you in advance :)

hi turkey, thank you for replying. I replaced the motherboard and psu but not the cpu. I have run a memory test for the ram which came out ok. Did the smart test for the hard drive as well. I have only 1 stick of 8gb ram. Are there any other tests I could run?
