Hi, im looking for a way to perhaps clone an amazon fire USB onto a regular USB and use that as an amazon fire usb? is this possible or is the firmware protected?

There is no fire USB, it's a fire TV stick that has an HDMI plug, not USB. And no, you can't copy it. Spend the $39 it costs for one.
