CPU gets really hot while rendering in any software

I have a i7 4770K being cooled by H100i. I figured this would be enough to handle the pressure of rendering most things, but I'm having trouble rendering videos in Adobe software and along with rendering images from a 3D modeling software, as well. Right now I have the fans placed on top of the radiator blowing down from the ceiling of the tower, but I used to have the fans flipped so they were blowing up. This change didn't seem to affect the temps at all. What is the issue with these temp? Is it the way it's set up? Could my cooler be defective? Or is this set up just not powerful enough?

Thanks, I appreciate any and all input!

Define 'trouble'. Is your system crashing? Getting too hot? Is the maximum CPU temperature stable, or does it keep climbing?

What are your other case fans doing? You understand you need to have more air being sucked into the case than blown out, otherwise negative air pressure in your case will hinder your exhaust fans?

Normal use of a H100i is to have the fans blowing through it out of the case, commonly from the top (since hot air rises) then have intake fans at the front and possibly the sides of your case. A rear exhaust fan is also fairly normal.

Is your CPU overclocked?

Sorry! You're right. I should have posted some specs and pics to go off of. I have a total of 6 fans in the tower including the ones on the h100i. Right now only the back fan is exhaust. My h100i fans were exhaust until I flipped them. I also had another thought. Could it be that the cpu isn't getting enough voltage? Here are a couple pics of my rig that show the direction of each fan. http://imgur.com/a/NvIp8
