Will GTX 960 2gb run fine on an i3 3220 processor??

I have an i3 3220 processor and currently linked it up with a gt 610 2gb graphics card. I plan to upgrade to a gtx 960 2gb edition very soon. This one:

I also have 8gb ram
So will my i3 bottleneck it. In other words i want to know if I can run ac syndicate at 1080p at high settings with these components. Also my mobo is an Intel DH61WW, so will it pose a problem or not.....
Lastly I also wanted to know if the above graphics card would fit in this cabinet

The better question is can your power supply support it? If you also have an iball power supply they are extremely poor quality.

Your CPU will do just fine in most cases. But you might see a little bottleneck occasionally (In CPU Intensive Games). But it's a decent pair with a GTX 960. And as for a PSU I would recommend a more quality power supply; like this one.

Hey thanks...So did you check out my cabinet..are you sure gtx 960 will fit in it... I will open up my pc tomorrow and tell which power supply i have.....Also will I be able to play ac syndicate at high?????

AC Syndicate on High on a 960? It depends on what resolution you would play on, and what FPS you consider playable. I have a 970, and I run AC Syndicate on High @ 1080p to get 50-60 FPS. For a 960, I think you could run on High at maybe 900p or 720p to get 50-60 FPS.

AC Syndicate is a pretty demanding game indeed. But with a 960 OC you can be able to get 40-50 on High to Ultra settings. And 30-45 with stock clock speeds.

As for the cabinet; I would open it up and measure how much length you have. And then look at the dimensions of the card online.

PS. Your CPU might be the bottleneck in AC Syndicate

Sorry for this extremely long reply.. I had my exams.... I opened it up and saw that it would fit perfectly..also I will upgrade to a psu cosair vs 550..So do you think I can run ac syndicate now at 1080p at high details at at least 55-60 fps...

I say yes, with your current set up your Pc your going to grabbing around 35-50 fps in the game on High.
