So ive just bought a brand new LG Nexus 5x, and for some reason the battery life is so poor,
ive read some forums that its the android 6.0 fault,
Wiht my use of the phone it drains like 40% in 3hours or 2hours with just using snapchat facebook and messenger.
Ive checked the battery at settings it says that android os drains like 3-4% and the screen brightness drains like 10%, while my screen britghness is turned to almost the lowest because i dont like bright and auto adaptive is off.
What seems to be the problem? Any fix or its just the OS, because even my old Samsung galaxy s3(android 4.3 Jellybean) with 2100mah battery lasted me full day, while a new one with 2700mah battery lasts only half of the day.

Solution
I have the older Nexus 5, and get 36-48 hours of battery life with Android 6.0. Reviews say you should be getting more battery life from the 5X than my 5. And it should be giving you nearly 11 hours of web browsing, or 8 hours of heavy use.

Try putting the phone in safe mode and see if the battery life is any better. In safe mode, only apps which originally shipped with the phone are allowed to run. This can be a good way to test if the battery drain is a problem inherent to the phone, or if it's being caused by an app you've installed or a setting you've changed.

There is no unofficial fix for that. You will have to wait till developers fix it. Your samsung will work good because system that samsung is complicity different. Google law say that companies can use for free android but have to develop own distribution this mean that samsumb, htc and all other phones are dealing on there own when comes with patches and features in system.
This might help you a bit:
