Greetings,

I've got a bit of an issue on a customer PC that has perturbed me to no end today.

CM came in with an Asus prefab desktop, Motherboard model: H81M-A_dp/maa1D/DP_MB

Upon diagnosing the computer, it was not powering on, no lights, no flashing LED, nothing. So we ordered him a new power supply, a Rosewill 550W Glacier semi-modular PSU.

When my tech went to plug in the PSU and components, the LED light on the board (green) flashes, but the system does not power on. Sometimes, if you disconnect and reconnect certain componoents (the front USB or the card reader on the front for example) the light stays solid green but the desktop still doesn't power on. I've been through the steps in the guide thats been posted as a sticky, just wondering what, if any options we have left.

Cheers,

The 750ti isn't power hungry, so even that PSU should be ok, for now. I'd imagine it is better than what the system came with. If even after a PSU change, it is not coming on, and you are sure all connections are properly connected, then I would have to say the motherboard most likely is bad.
