Hey guys,

I wanted an updated forum on getting a gaming PC that can run Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 for 500-550 (600 as a high.) I have the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and OS already I just need a replacement desktop for my dead PC. I love in the States and have been contemplating just buying a Cyberpower PC. I prefer AMD but if there is a better option I'll take it. Any and all help is appreciated.

I built this for someone recently. W/o an OS, it came to ~$540: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=21511554
It is an Athlon X4 860K/GTX 960 system with a Seasonic 520W PSU. Should play F4 nicely at 1080p. Here is a performance video of just such a system at High and Ultra settings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEZ2bXlTLMI

The one thing I did different before ordering the parts...

For sure. I'm just not tech savy enough to know what would be best for parts. My wife works in IT and my son as well so I could use them for knowledge on hooking it up in event I get stumped. Chances are though it can be a straight forward buiding process ( in terms of actually putting the parts into the case lol)

The one thing I did different before ordering the parts was get 2133 MHz RAM instead of the 1600 MHz RAM.
