Hello. I recently decided to upgrade from my current GTX 660 Ti GPU to a more powerful GTX 970. The issue is, as someone with somewhat limited knowledge of PC building, I had a few questions that I needed to resolve in order to make sure that the new card would be completely compatible with my PC setup. I was able to figure out most of my problems through research and my own knowledge, however, I have one remaining question which I'd really appreciate a complete answer to: Will my current 500W PSU be enough to safely support my setup with the new GTX 970 GPU? I've attempted to do research on the subject, however, I encountered wildly varying answers, so I'd like to make sure that I go into the purchase with absolutely no risks.

My Current Setup:

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 Ti (Changing to GTX 970)
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k 3.4ghz
PSU: Silverstone Strider Plus 500W 80 Plus Bronze
RAM: 10GB RAM

Please let me know if I can provide any other details about my setup that will aid in forming a complete answer to my question. Thanks in advance.
