Keyboard and Mouse have stopped working

Ok so i was trying to connect a tv to my computer through hdmi and i was using a hdmi to avi splitter (think thats what its called) anyway i couldnt get the TV configured right so i unplugged everything from the TV and restarted my computer. When my computer got to the login screen (i have WIN 8.1) the mouse and keyboarded didnt work. So i tryed to restart it and that didnt work. But now when i restart the computer and hit f12 alot i get into the boot menu and can use my keyboard with no problem. Any idea on whats wrong?

which keyboard and mice you have? brand/model??
did you tried just replug them?
your driver are up to date?
can you utilize an other keyboard and mice?

I have the razor black widow keyboard and a razor mouse. Ive tried using other keyboards and mice but they dont work and yes i have tried to replug them.

did you remove the drivers for your razer mouse and keyboard?? before trying the other keyboard and mouse

While in the boot menu. I dont know if i can install drivers through the menu

check if all hardwares are detected
check settings if they are good ...check in your mobo manual
