While playing game counter strike my GUP Temperature goes more than 100 degree Celsius. Is it normal or too high. And also usage is at 100. I am having Amd Radeon R5 230 Graphics card and my laptop model is Lenovo G50-70 Also my fan speed is at Auto which has 20 as max.

no............ that's a little... too hot. Is your fan running? If it isn't, than run it. Your GPU will fail and get unstable if you do that. I always play BF4 at 42c on ultra settings but I keep my fan at 50%. 60-70c is the area if you like to run toasty. NEVER 100c+

yeah actually my laptop shuts down automatically after it touches 100 degree...btw according to you what should be the fan speed? and i put my laptop on charge then only it touches 100 degree...while playing on battery the temperature i saw was normal around 60-70 degree.

When on power most likely your system allow the gpu to operate at 100% capacity. But that's also mean more heat (increase gpu activity, probably increase gpu clock as well which can lead to much higher temperature). Probably the ventilation are somehow clogged with dust? Preventing the heat being properly dump out from your chasis.

hope se i havent opened my laptop n cleaned...although i can feel the fan's air cuming out from my laptop. so i don't think dust is blocking. Also because this happens only when i am plugged in charger and playing game. While playing in on battery mdoe it works amazing.

hope so but i dont know ....is there any way to cool down the gpu tempreature while charger is plugged in? because i am sure its a problem of increase in GPU Temprature while charger is plugged in....i have checked many imes with MSI Afterburn.

Probably you can open up your laptop to clear the dust just in case. Other than that it is hard to do anything else. Often OEM stuff did not work well (or not working at all) with third party tool. For pc usually one can increase the fan speed (or make their own fan curve using software like msi ab). I'm not sure such thing can be done with laptop. And if the ventilation was on the bottom side of the laptop (instead of sides) make sure you have some space so the hot air can be dump out much more easily.

Ohhhhhh, It's a laptop. Usually you cant change much on a Laptop. Is there enough airflow through the fans? If there is airflow then use a fan to force air in and see if that helps.

If you play games on your laptop then you can install MSI After Burner on it. That would give you the ability to see Fan speed Vs GPU temp. With that information, and the ability to adjust the fan speed manually, you should be able to determine when and why the GPU is getting so hot.
