Hi, i recently purchased a PNY geforce gt 610 1024Mb card to upgrade the graphics on my pc,
My current board is an Asrock 939 dual sata from 2005 it has served my needs well since i im not a hardcore pc gamer anyway. It has the Athlon 64 3200+ 2gb Processor. To my dismay, asrock says that the geforce 610 is not compatable with the 939 dual sata, so im wondering what budget board i can get to replace, and still use most of my parts. I plan on upgrading ram and cpu at a later date. I've searched for the 939SLI32-eSATA2 which is supposed to be compatable but everybody is out of stock. Any suggestions would be great, I'm basically looking to upgrade this system to the fastest it can go at minimal cost. looking to spend under 120$ Also wondering about processor upgrades with the expansion slot.

Why buy a new computer when i can just upgrade the mobo and processor on this one?
If i had 300$ for a new computer i wouldn't be creating this thread.
I found a guy selling the 939SLI on ebay for 39$ anyway, so thanks for your help.

Good news: I have an ASRock 970M Pro3 motherboard, it works great and is compatible with a ton of GPUs and all AM3/AM3+ processors it's only 75$
Bad news: any new mobo you get you'll need to install your OS again and may need a new key.

I dont have an am3 processor at the moment, this is really a budget rig that will end up in my kids room at some point. The only games i really play on the pc are sim city and command and conquer.
Ive got this 939 Athalon 3200+ and an old K8 lying around.
