New to building pcs, want a high end rig for 4k gaming / 60 fps ultra witcher 3 w/ mods. Im looking to put a evga 980 ti AC 2. I will probably be overclocking. My friends tell me it's stupid and youll break your rig faster but with these expensive well reviewed parts...i should be good, no?

Niiiiice. That will be a killer build. I guess the only other thing is that if you REALLY want to push the overclock you can consider the Gigabyte Gaming 5 instead of the MSI to get 8 power phase digital VRMs instead of the hybrid/analog in the MSI. But plenty of people can achieve good clocks on the MSI so don't think it is necessary.

Yeah i shouldve made it clearer 1080 p 60 fps, but 4k at least 30-40 fps. Just wanted to know how compatible the mobo is with those parts and how safe is it to overclock
