Keyboard is not working on windows 8.1

Yesterday night I was playing game and turned off the computer and again when I turn on the computer the keyboard did not worked but on the device manger it shows my keyboard device. I restart the computer even but it didn't worked please help me out of this problem

Because windows 10 fixed the problem, i am going to assume it was driver issues. It must have been either USB drivers themselves or the keyboard drivers. Nice job solving the problem

Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in?
Have you tried using a different USB port?
Have you tried unplugging it, removing the device drivers, and then plugging it back in to let windows reinstall the drivers?

Can you tell if the keyboard is receiving power? Do the Numlock Capslock lights come on etc.

Already I had ps2 keyboard it shows the same problem so I thought it might be the keyboards problem and I brought a new Logitech wireless keyboard it works fine on other computers but it is not working on my computer it shows my keyboard on device manager even in device status it say that the device is working properly

Dude my problem was solved, I just upgrade my OS to Windows 10 and then the keyboard works fine. The simple way to fix a hard keyboard problem is changing the OS
