I'm currently running two Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD monitors - both DVI - with a GTX 465 card. Looking to add a third monitor, and possibly a fourth within a few months.
My intended purpose is about 90 percent business (QBooks, Excel, email, etc) and about 10 percent video (movies, sometimes use Adobe CreativeSuite).
My questions:
- Do I need one new video card or two? I'm putting the existing one in another computer anyway
- Any recommendations for monitors in the 23 inch and above category
- Can I stick to the Nvidia cards - much prefer them over the AMD
if it's relevant, my computer setup is as follows:
Windows 7 Ultimate
Asus P9X79 Deluxe motherboard
Intel i7-3930 six core processor
OCZ 1250 watt power supply
Thermaltake case (full size, lots of room)
The only thing I have in any of my motherboard slots is my existing video card; all other slots are open.
