Anyone know a good pc build for about $600 (no more than $50 over)
For gaming? Preferably and Intel build for the cpu. I already have a spare copy of Windows 7 from a pc I thought about building but decided against it and decided to wait until this year. Anyone know a good $600 pc build with an Intel (preferably an i5 because I've had bad experiences with the pentium's and NO amd plz, had very very very bad experience with them in the past. Also I would like a water cooled vs air cpu fan comparison. Thanks!

you don't need upgraded cooling. the stock air cooler is fine for this build. aftermarket coolers are for overclocking. you are not within the budget for this.

air cooling:
-completely safe
-affordable
-usually sufficient for high overclocks

water cooling:
-chance of leaking and ruining components
-lower temps
-much more expensive
-only for people who really want to push overclocks

Hello . That build nerdrage suggested . I can tweak it to your liking and save money/ better performance. Definitely go with western digital for a hdd, they are the most reliable company for hard drives. They have been around longer too. Now I highly recommend you get a gigabytes or Asus motherboard as asrock is made for a budget low end system . They are made with poor quality . Now that power supply is fine . If you want something that's modular , quieter and cheaper then the RaidMax Vampire 700w Continuous 80+ Gold Modular Power supply from newegg . It's around $40-$60 I do believe . Other raid max power supplies aren't good so only this one . Now I'll go ahead and recommend that you purchase a r9 290 . But that I5 from Intel is already expensive. But that's all I guess .

I Would get the 4GB 960 because games even at 1080p are starting to eat up 3GB+ or VRAM

don't really agree with any of this, besides the western digital part. the 1tb wd blue is about $5 more, but it is a fair amount more reliable.

thats not a bad idea. its only about $15 more after rebate.
